The venue & date

Our wedding will be held on Friday, August 28, 2026, at Lightfoot & Wolfville Vineyards in Wolfville, Nova Scotia. Located in the heart of the Annapolis Valley, the venue offers a beautiful setting for us to celebrate with the people we love.

Wedding Day Schedule

Date: August 28, 2026
Location: Lightfoot and Wolfville Vineyard, Wolfville

Ceremony
We can’t wait to start the evening with our ceremony upstairs in the venue’s Tidal Loft. Guests can arrive starting at 4:30pm, with the ceremony beginning at 5:00pm.

Cocktail Hour
After the ceremony, we’ll gather for cocktail hour and a toast! You can enjoy local wine, canapés, and our signature drinks, either indoors or out on the balcony, which offers stunning views of the vineyard and Minas Basin.

Dinner
We’ll be working with the team at Lightfoot & Wolfville to craft a menu that highlights the best of Nova Scotia’s seasonal flavors, served in the venue’s wine barrel cellar. It’ll be a relaxed, sit-down meal with plenty of time to connect and enjoy.

Closing the Evening
Around 8:30–9:00 PM, the celebration at the winery will come to a close. Before you head out, you’re welcome to stop by the boutique to purchase a bottle of wine (or two!) to take home.

After the Celebration
If you’re not ready to call it a night, join us at The Evangeline (weather permitting) for a relaxed bonfire, casual drinks, and late-night snacks. The perfect way to round out the day together.


Optional Gatherings

For guests remaining in the area after the wedding, we are offering a couple of casual, optional events. Participation is entirely voluntary, and we completely understand if it’s more convenient to head back to Halifax or catch a flight.   • Saturday Brunch at Longfellow’s
    Date: August 29, 2026 @ 11:00am
    The bride and groom will be heading to Longfellow’s (The Evangeline’s on-site restaurant) on Saturday after checking out of the hotel. Nothing formal—just come as you are, order what you’d like, and join us for a relaxed brunch.

  • Sunday Cottage Afternoon & Evening
    Date: August 30, 2026
    On Sunday, we’ll be at the cottage for a laid-back afternoon and evening of BBQ, swimming, games, and (hopefully) a bonfire. This one depends on the weather—rain or fire bans could change the plan—but if conditions are right, we’d love to see you there.
